1. Star Player Palmer Ready for Important London Clash with The Gunners

The Blues head coach Enzo Maresca announced on the final weekday that Cole Palmer is ready to play for the squad's important top-flight match against London opponents Arsenal.

The young English international was unavailable due to a broken toe suffered after an accidental incident.

“He is ready to start and participate,” Maresca commented. “All involved are pleased.”

In the current campaign, Palmer has featured in just four games in all tournaments, finding the net on two occasions.

Following his transfer from City in 2023, he has notched 45 scores and 29 helpers in 101 matches for the London club.

“He is our best player, we are happy he is back, we need to provide him with time to be completely ready,” Maresca added. “His past performances have been excellent and no doubt he is going to do very good for this club in the future.”
